Rain....

We got a really good shower with some thunder Tuesday, June 10th, in Moultrie. I hope we get more today.

The thing I love most about the Summer, is these afternoon showers that build up, gives us some hope of some cool down, not too mention I love the rain!

Bah.

I watched the weather.com site yesterday and there was a wedge that ran from Berlin to Norman Park.

I have not seen a drop yet and I am again loosing my plants because of it. I lost my well last year.

Shag377: Bet you got some today? It is pouring now in Moultrie and looks like all of Colquitt County will get some today.

We got some! A nice hard shower, and then it tapered off to a steady one. Came late, so it may stick overnight.

I moved some centipede runners Monday, and I thought I was going to have to start watering, but yesterday we had a really nice shower. There was damaging wind with the system around Brooks and Thomas counties to name a couple. I hope nothing was too serious.

Our side of Brooks didnt get much. No damage that I know of. We did lose power for a couple of hours, but someone can pee in the ditch and that will happen. We did get a nice rain though.

Well, I don't know about yall but I enjoyed that short storm earlier today =)

We had some rough weather this way obviously. It was slightly windy here at my house, but when you get to the end of my driveway and look across at the fence on the other side of the road, there are about 5 trees broken across the fence. We rode through valdosta and saw a lot of limbs down. Half of Quitman has been without power for about 7 hours now because of trees down on lines. I am glad I live in a bubble.

It didn't last long here yesterday, but it was nice. We're also having a nice shower today.
